I am Benji, and I am 15 years old. That's mighty old. I have lived with my momma and daddy for about 14 years now. They brought me home from a shelter when I was pretty young. I had been abandoned by my people. I don't know what happened to them, they just up and left me tied to a pole with no food or water and six puppies to feed. When some people finally came and rescued me, four of my puppies had died. They took me and my two puppies to a shelter. Where they named me Penny. Daddy saw me in the paper, and went to the shelter and took me home to live with him and Momma. I love my parents, and I know they love me. My Momma is kind of crazy. I try hard to understand her, but sometimes she is just beyond my capacity to understand. Anyway, I know that she and Daddy love me. and work hard to take care of me now that I am getting old.
Old Age. That is a bad thing. But I am adjusting okay. My butt doesn't always work, and sometimes I have accidents in the house. But Momma and Daddy love me any way. GODIG is a big help. The members and I talk about getting old, and they help me make Momma understand.

Hello,
We've just added our newest GODIGer, Rags, to the GODIG member list (which also has links to each member's profile for easier barking).
Rags is a Maltese/Yorkie mix, approximately 16 years old, whose mom found him walking on the sidewalk eight years ago and whose former family never came forward. Rags lives with his much younger adoptive sister Lacey, a toy poodle, and has recently retired as a model for his mom's pet clothes company. It's so cold here today and i am sending you big hugs to warm me up too. BOL!!! am just stayin at home nothin to do..cuddlin with mommy before she starts workin (which i don't like except for the gweat food and toys she pwamised). I really need to take advantage of her time with me. wooof!!!

well its been another stinking hot day ahhh these hot days are getting to mum she is just hot and cant do much she gets to dizzy,sick poor mum,us pups well we have been sunning in the shade its way to hot for our puppy paws to sunbake on the concrete so we have kept cool in the shade ahh.
How was your day,we have done our barks late as usual BOL mum got up late and has been busy sorting out everything,now she can rest with us,we all got baths yesterday all three of us yay mum said she gave us all a good brush and she said wow you all smell good yeah not for long we say hehe,now we have rolled in the dirt and grass and smell like a dog should hehe,mum said she can still catch us even though she has a belly she can catch us dammit we will have to try another plan.
well pals we are off to bed and mum is going to have a ice cold water ahh sounds good,nighty night sweet dreams mwah mwah mwah
